Over the years, I’ve written a lot of music. And yet, much of it has never found a home, per se. I thought it might be fun to assemble a collection of some of my originals that years later, I still like. I’ll admit, this collection is… pretty weird. These pieces cover a broad scope of genres, sound palettes, and purposes.
Some of these tracks were written for video games that were never finished/released (Organ Donor, Haunted Musicbox, Ferdinand the Pig, Sunrise Beach); some were abstract assignments for college courses (Wibit Woo, Broken Atari, Space Cave); some were doodles that I wrote to test out a new sample pack (Action Cab Ride, Skydiving with Shades, Wood Imps); some were pieces that I tracked for various compos as I learned the tracking craft (Nile, Prank Call); some were composed to accompany various video/audio projects (Stunt Dude, Space Station: Hypersleep, Sleeping Possum)… you get the idea. Frankly, some of these tracks have only been heard by a few select folks… until now. Enjoy!
(Btw most of these tracks are presented in their original production quality, with a few exceptions that I felt the need to remaster for this release. Those include: Cheezedude, Genetical, Electric Fantasy, and City Lights.)
Additionally, if you’re interested in licensing any of these pieces for media, many of them are available via Atrium Music (
atriummusic.com), just search for Mazedude.
